Spinach and greens are the hardest nuts to crack.  Here are two delicious recipes.<\/p>\n<p>1. Noodle Soup: Serves four<\/p>\n<p>ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>tomato &#8211; 4<br \/>\n<br \/>Pumpkin bottle: half a small grain<br \/>\n<br \/>Carrots: two.  Small and tender<br \/>\n<br \/>Spinach &#8211; 8 leaves (remove the stems)<br \/>\n<br \/>Onion &#8211; one<br \/>\n<br \/>Garlic: half round (8-10 cloves)<br \/>\n<br \/>cloves -2<br \/>\n<br \/>Salt and pepper to taste.<br \/>\n<br \/>Whole cumin seeds.  (Jeera) &#8211; one table spoon<br \/>\n<br \/>Noodles: 400g (instant or otherwise)<\/p>\n<p>directione:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Peel the onion, garlic, bottle gourd and carrot.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Wash the spinach well.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Wash all other vegetables, including tomatoes.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Cut the vegetables into small pieces, about one to two inches.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Put the vegetables and cloves in the pressure cooker.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Add 250 ml of water.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Close the lid of the pressure cooker and when it begins to beep, lower the gas burner.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Keep it for ten minutes.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Meanwhile, cook or boil the pasta according to the instructions.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 In the case of instant noodles, it only takes two minutes.  Other pasta may take longer and require water to be drained.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Add flavors and seasonings as indicated with instant noodles.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 In the case of other pasta, drain the water after boiling and add salt, red pepper sauce and vinegar to taste.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Once the noodles are al dente, set them aside.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Turn off the gas and wait for the steam to dissipate.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Open the pressure cooker cover carefully.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 If using a steel blender, mix hot vegetables well;  If using a blender, grinder, or plastic blender, wait until the vegetables have cooled, then blend them well.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Take a large sieve and filter these mixed vegetables through.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Use a stand to crush the vegetables and push them through the strainer.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Take a large skillet and combine the pasta and blended (and drained) vegetables in that skillet.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Roast the cumin seeds on the hot belt (tawa).<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Crush these roasted seeds into a powder.  (I put these on a chakla and roll an Ai Bilan pin over these).<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Add this powder to pasta and soup mixtures.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 Add salt and black pepper to the noodle soup.<br \/>\n<br \/>\u2022 A very nutritious and absolutely not fattening meal for winter evenings is ready.<\/p>\n<p># While serving in bowls, this soup can be garnished with boiled eggs.<br \/>\n<br \/>* Instead of pasta, noodles \/ noodles can be used.<\/p>\n<p>2. Tacos for Tiffins: Two tacos<\/p>\n<p>ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>Whole wheat flour: 100 grams<br \/>\n<br \/>Warm water: 200 ml<br \/>\n<br \/>Salt: a pinch<br \/>\n<br \/>Ajwain *: pinch<br \/>\n<br \/>Pure butter\/ghee: 1 tablespoon<\/p>\n<p>To fill:<\/p>\n<p>Potato &#8211; one boiled<br \/>\n<br \/>Cheese &#8211; 50 g grated<br \/>\n<br \/>Green peas &#8211; 50 grams, boiled<br \/>\n<br \/>Fenugreek (Methi) Green Leaves &#8211; Two sprigs, (washed and chopped very finely)<br \/>\n<br \/>Salt and pepper to season<br \/>\n<br \/>Oregano &#8211; a pinch<br \/>\n<br \/>Spread sandwich &#8211; optional<\/p>\n<p>directione:<\/p>\n<p>Add flour, salt, ajwain and clarified butter in a wide plate\/pan.<br \/>\n<br \/>Slowly add warm water to make a smooth paste.<br \/>\n<br \/>Make 2 balls of dough.<br \/>\n<br \/>Put an iron belt on the fire.<br \/>\n<br \/>Roll out the dough balls into wide round patties.  (Quarter plate size)<br \/>\n<br \/>Cook these pancakes on the hot belt one at a time, flipping them, when one side is cooked through.<br \/>\n<br \/>Mash potatoes, cheese, peas and fenugreek leaves.<br \/>\n<br \/>Add salt, pepper and oregano.<br \/>\n<br \/>Spread a thin layer of the sandwich over the pancakes one by one.  (optional)<br \/>\n<br \/>Spread the veggie puree and cheese on the pie\/taco.<br \/>\n<br \/>Roll up the tacos and use toothpicks in the ends to keep them closed.<br \/>\n<br \/>Grill these wrapped tacos on the grill plate of this waffle maker.<br \/>\n<br \/>Serve hot with green sauce or salsa.<\/p>\n<p># To fill any dry cooked vegetables that can be used, such as cauliflower, cabbage, carrots, etc. Or scrambled eggs can be used.<br \/>\n<br \/>*Ajwain is also called carom, Carum copticum \/ Trachyspermum copticum \/ Trachyspermum ammi, or bishop&#8217;s weed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Most mothers face the problem of feeding children healthy food.
